
20th century, the music world saw the entry of light and easy to listen to music on African-American jazz music. Originating in southern USA, jazz music is a mixture of African and European musical traditions. That puts the combined use of blue notes, improvisation, syncopation and swing notes.
Jazz music was first used in reference to the music from the 20th Chicago century. The course of several other subgenres such as New Orleans Dixieland, big band-style swing, bebop, Afro-Cuban jazz, Brazilian jazz, jazz rock fusion, and more recent acid jazz.
Realm of jazz music was and is still most associated with black American community. They transition from black musicians learned to play banjo and tambourines European instruments such as violin. Black slaves in America start to sing and play music using a form of spiritual or ritualistic hymns.
After emancipation, employment opportunities for black slaves were extremely limited, as the segregation laws were still in force. Many of these black slaves found themselves in entertainment such as piano players and musicians.
